About Pho Love
A Vietnamese restaurant made with Love!
Pho Love is one of the vietnamese & pho listed in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The business is registered at 201 Park Hills Plaza, Altoona, PA 16602; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Altoona, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 AMβ8 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 201-2713. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 155 reviews, which is a strong result for a vietnamese in Altoona and suggests consistent service.
Altoona is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Altoona follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My FiancΓ© and I stopped here on a whim while traveling. Such an incredible spot! Warm and welcoming staff, and the beef PHO was so warm and so flavorful. The Pad thai was delicious too. $31 for these meals and worth every cent. Definitely recommend!!

An overall amazing restaurant with great food, great service, and generous portions! Good prices (~44 dollars for 2 soups and an appetizer) and large enough that even the small bowls of pho could be shared. The dumplings were mouth-watering and addictive with the sauce, the pho was perfectly savory and delicious, the yellow curry was rich and flavorful, and both the hot and iced teas were to die for. Also offers lots of vegetarian options. Welcoming atmosphere with waiters that are super nice and willing to help with anything you're unfamiliar with, and a down-to-earth family-owned vibe. Amazing place, recommend to anyone who wants a good meal!!

Finally got to dine in and sit down! Got my favorite soy milk, spring rolls and pho tai! It was so delicious, people who say thereβs no flavor- you have to add the veggies, lime, hoisin and sriracha! I will be back, Iβm Vietnamese and super grateful to have easy access to my favorite foods!

This is a nice new restaurant in Altoona. I've never had Vietnamese food until tonight. Delicious and the service was fast and friendly *Update* I've been here several times and everything is very good! And the environment is so relaxing.

Pho Love is a nice addition to Altoona. Theyβre just getting started and finding their footing, so itβs likely youβll be waiting around before and after being seated. Our food came out all at the same time, appetizers and entrees. The spring rolls (fresh rolls) were good, as was the peanut sauce. The shrimp wontons and chili sauce were delicious, but incredibly expensive given how small they were ($10). A small bowl of Pho will run you up a little over $13, and itβs the perfect portion. The Pho broth has a good flavor, but it is missing a bit of depth. Overall, itβs a decent bowl. They were unfortunately out of bean sprouts this evening. I would definitely give them a visit if youβre looking for Pho in Altoona.
